This is the third debate/discussion I am creating for within the wiki. I apologize for missing out on the creation of another debate a week ago, I've been busy. But now this is a debate that is about the issues that has been going about lately. Other staff and users (with authorization) are allowed to create their own debates.
The only rule is to be respectful and not break any other wiki rules in the process.

Lately from the shootings ranging from the shootings in Las Vegas, USA to opening fire at a local highschool in Grasse, France to attacking people with a hunting rifle in Moscow,Russia ... the topic of Gun Control has never been more dividing. First of all; many have different ideas on what type of Gun Control there is. In some countries, gun control could simply mean the prevention of guns in the black market, while in others is the controversy surrounding the "second amendment".
Studies have shown that countries that banned guns have a lower rate of gun related violence. But at the same time, this would be the violation of the "Second Amendment" in other countries who allowed guns. Maybe some countries are lucky that guns aren't so widespread in theirs in the first place. Or maybe others are even more lucky to have guns to protect from attackers.
Should there be stricter background checks of a person? Limiting the amount of weapons a certain person could have? The loosening of gun laws to allow anyone to carry a gun to protect themselves? Or perhaps an outright ban of guns to help stop the death toll? What is your solution to gun control?.
