The Mappervision Song Contest LVI is the fifty-sixth monthly edition of Mappervision Song Contest. It is based on Eurovision but with alternate countries (nations) in Mapperdonia. It takes place in Coventry, Dantomkia following the nation's victory at the April 2020 edition with ABBA performing Money Money Money. This is the second time when Dantomkia hosted the Mappervision Song Contest.

Swania won the contest with the song "Barrio" performed by Italian singer Mahmood. This was Swania's first victory in the contest, on their first participation—it was also the second win from one of Mazovian's nations, after Inkami. Pannonia, Benarsk, Sloburg and ABSA Germany rounded out the top five, with Benarsk and Sloburg tying for third. Host Dantomkia came sixth.

But:

  • If you don't vote for the second time in a row, you will get disqualified for one edition.

• If two nations are tied for first, whoever had more nations vote for them wins.
  • If there is still a tie, whoever has more 12 point votes will win.

Location

Ericsson Exhibition Hall

Shortly after Dantomkia won the previous edition, the national broadcaster of Dantomkia started to seek the host city and host venue for the fifty-sixth Mappervision Song Contest. Four venues sent a bid for hosting the contest and these venues were the Ericsson Exhibition Hall in Coventry, the Barclaycard Arena in Birmingham, the Resorts World Arena in Birmingham, and the Motorpoint Arena in Nottingham.

The national broadcaster announced that the Ericsson Exhibition Hall in Coventry would be the host venue for the 56th Mappervision Song Contest. The Ericsson Exhibition Hall has a capacity of approximately 12,000 attendees.
