Republic of Soriana, or just Soriana (/soɾijana/) (in Italian, Repubblica di Soriana, in Sorian, Repubblèca dè Sorèana) is an independent sovereign state located in Southern Europe. It has a population of approximately 6,8 million people between Laos and El Salvador and its density is 183 people per km sq between Sao Tome and Principe and Andorra, so it is crowded per km sq. Also, it has GDP (PPP) of 355 billion $ in total between Ukraine and Qatar and 51,750 $ per capita between Bahrain and Sweden. Also, it has GDP (nominal) of 249,5 billion $ in total between Finland and Egypt and 36,328 $ per capita between UAE and Italy. People used to be richer than other countries because in Soriana most of the Sorian people used to trade. Now with developing technology, although there are traders also there are scientists and coders mostly. Also, there are tourist guides for the beautiful city, Venice.

Its capital city is Venice and its official languages are Sorian and Italian which are used by most of the population as the first language, but some people who migrated to Soriana speak recognised languages, eg. Slovenian, Croatian.

Soriana shares borders with Austria to the north, Italy to the west, Slovenia to the east and Croatia to the south-east.

Soriana is also a member of the United Nations, NATO and the European Union.

History

Establishment of Soriana

On July 25 2018, the Allies took power in Italy. Then in 14th of August, Sorian rebellious civil army declared independence in Venice. Then Allied forces tried to suppress the rebellion of Sorian army. But Allied forces didn't succeed. Then, more Sorian people joined the Sorian army.

Expansion

Sorian army wanted to reach other Sorian people. So they had to expand. Soriana expanded until Trieste and Verona.

Agreement

Allies realized that Soriana expanded too much. So they wanted to sign a treaty with Soriana. Sorian army accepted this offer. Peace Treaty of Venice is signed between the Allied Powers and Soriana on February 12, 1944. According to this treaty, Soriana got some territories. Then the borders of Soriana became like the present.

Living under Italy

Sorians used to live under the rule of Italy. Historians claim that Sorian people came from Venetians, Udineses and Veroneses. They got mixed with Slovenian and Croatian people.

Revolt

In 1915, Sorian people didn't agree with the Italian government. Sorian people told that Italy should be at the side of Central Powers. But the Italian government rejected their ideas. After rejecting, Sorian people revolted against the Italian government. But they didn't succeed.

In 1941, Sorian soldiers and commanders started Military Coup but they didn't succeed. After this, Sorian people established Soriana.

Sorian people was known as Italian and Venetian people until 15th century.

Republic of Venice

Historians claim that the Republic of Venice was established by Sorian people and Sorian people affirm that they established the Republic of Venice.

invasions. A large number of the inhabitants moved from there to look a safer place. People of the Byzantine province of Venice elected their first leader as Ursus.

Rise

Ursus's successor, Deusdedit moved his seat from Heraclea to Malamocco in the 740s. He was the son of Ursus and represented the attempt of his father to establish a dynasty.

During the reign of the Deusdedit, Venice became the only remaining Byzantine possession in the north and the changing politics of the Frankish Empire began to change the factional divisions within Venetia. Factions:

1. Pro-Byzantine - They desired to remain well-connected to the Empire.
2. Republican in Nature - They believed in continuing along a course towards practical independence.
3. Pro-Frankish - They looked towards the new Carolingian king of the Franks, Pepin the Short, as the best provider of defence against the Lombards.
4. Pro-Lombard - They was opposed to close ties with any of these further-off powers and interested in maintaining peace with the neighbouring Lombard kingdom.

Early Middle Ages

The successors of Obelerio inherited a united Venice. By the Pax Nicephori, the two emperors had recognised that Venice belonged to the Byzantine sphere of influence. Many centuries later, the Venetians claimed that the treaty had recognised Venetian de facto independence. A Byzantine fleet sailed to Venice in 807 and deposed the Doge (President of the Venice), replacing him with a Byzantine governor. Nevertheless, during the reign of the Participazio family, Venice grew into its modern form.

During the reign of the successor of the Participazio, Pietro Tradonico, Venice began to establish its military might, which would influence many a later crusade and dominate the Adriatic for centuries. Tradonico's reign was long and successful, but he was succeeded by the Participazio and a dynasty appeared to have been finally established.

High Middle Ages

In the High Middle Ages, Venice became extremely wealthy through its control of trade between Europe and the Levant, and it began to expand into the Adriatic Sea and beyond. The Venetians also gained extensive trading privileges in the Byzantine Empire during the 12th century.

Kingdom of Soriana

The Kingdom of Soriana was established on 14th August 1943. In 4th May 2018, the army who wants democracy in Soriana made a coup and they changed the constitution.

Euro was used in Kingdom of Soriana and Republic of Soriana until 29th May 2018. Because of Treaty of Ioannina, Republic of Soriana had to change their currency from euro to BMO kuruş. But in 5th of July 2018, Soriana quitted from BMO, so currency of Soriana is changed to euro again.

In 27th April 2018, Soriana allocated its 70% of the budget to science and technology. Then Soriana got into debt of around 30% of its GDP. But now, Soriana paid its all of debt.

Soriana has GDP (PPP) of 263 billion $ in total and 52,000 $ per capita. Most of the Sorian people are rich. People can find a job. So the unemployment level is so low in Soriana.

There isn't salary inequality. So the gini is low.
