The MIFF Monthly Cup - January 2020, is scheduled to be the nineteeth edition of the MIFF Monthly Cup, the monthly international men's football tournament organized by the Mapperdonian International Football Federation. It makes a comeback after one year of hiatus. The tournament will be hosted by Iszria whom is also the defending champions.

The tournament will involve 16 teams, of which 10 come through willing participants, four is selected randomly from the each confederation, one wildcard and the host nation.

The final match will take place on 26th of January.

The tournament will involve 16 teams. Host nation gets automatically one reserved slot. Owner of the host nation also gets to choose one from their nations as a wildcard for the tournament. Four teams, also known as "Lucky Four", are selected randomly from the each confederation. The remaining 10 slots are given to willing participants.

The 16 teams will be drawn into four groups of 4, by selecting one team from each of the 4 ranked pots.

For the draw, the teams are allocated to four pots based on the MIFF World Ranking. Pot 1 contains the hosts Iszria (who is automatically assigned to position A1).

Venues[]

The tournament will be played in four venues. Mapperdonian International Football Federation originally proposed the Iszrian regional capital cities as the host cities for the tournament. However, the Iszrian Football Association announced the tournament will be played in Banjul, Bissau City and Dakar.
