FOAE ep1 sld1

"Future OF an Alternate Europe" or FOAE was a mapping series started by Scout107 on June 27th 2016. it started out by me making a random map with no real reason but it developed into so much more.

Characters[]

this section will be telling you characters and their stories in the series.

The Polish Empire[]

The Polish Empire was the original main character of the series. The series was meant to center around him. The Polish Empire started out expansionist and bombastic; he was a total jerk. Poland had 2 major experiences that changed him. The first of these experiences was his battle with Dewy, Dewy asked for Malta but poland in his pride invaded him, Dewy to Poland's surprise was able to destroy Poland's army. After Poland's fight with Dewy it had a rebellion in Livonia, this rebellion was a massive disaster for Poland. Because of what Poland went through in the first episode for most of the series he has been highly insecure seeing that his empire is failing, he saw the writing on the wall and was depressed by his fate. Even though Poland was selfish and an absolute jerk Belgasnia helped him to become more of a hero, only he believed in Poland, thats what made them friends.

Belgasnia[]

Belgasnia was the second major character I introduced and the second one to die. He was meant to be the main hero of the series and the guide of Poland through his declining phase. Belgasnia was stable and continued to try and keep the world peaceful; he is highly talented in diplomacy and persuasion which are his main weapons. The first time he showed his gift was when Norden invaded him to keep Poland from gaining power, Belgasnia was able to unite Norden and Poland against their common enemy, Zabernavia. Speaking of Zabernavia that was the second time Belgasnia won a war with persuasion, he was able to convince Zabernavia that he had done wrong and got him to make peace with the East Wall alliance and the Link. Belgasnia showed his Talent for peace, but then his life was taken from him by the real enemy that was hiding in the shadows all along.

Norden[]

Norden was and still is a supporting character with a lacking personality. Norden (like all other nations) was created without purpose, however! unlike some Norden is actually somewhat of a character. he first came into the series during the formation of the East Wall, he became one of the first ever members of the alliance. Though Norden plays a role in the series, he is not a fully developed character with its own purpose. the continuing of the series may change this.

Leri[]

Like Norden Leri is a very minor player in the world. he was first introduced joining the east wall alliance but hasn't done much else throughout the series, he is mainly just following the alliance though the future may change him.

Livonia[]

Livonia is a minor character that didn't start on the map. i first introduced Livonia as rebels in the Polish Empire. he is a character that has gone through a number of changes and very much has a purpose. even though he had to fight against Poland he learned to forgive and helped Poland fight Zabernavia. He seems set to do more as the series progresses and maybe even become a major one, only rtime will tell.

Wepl[]

Wepl is a dead "minor character" that did very little throughout it's appearance in the series. Wepl first appeared when Satron attacked it, Wepl was saved by Lamina and Hibernia from total destruction. after this first incident he did very little other than join the East Wall, Get invaded a second time, and get nuked to oblivion.

Lamina[]

Lamina is a dead minor character that never became what he could. Lamina first appeared in the series trying to save Wepl from destruction at the hands of Satron, he was meant to be a character that cared about the group and wanted what was best for it but he was never fully developed. The second appearance he had was in the collective decision of Wepl, Hibernia and him to join the East Wall, he sadly did little else. In short he is the biggest regret I have in the series and arguably in my mapping career, to not fully develop him. Though his time in the series was cut short it still seems to be the right decision to me to have ended it there.

Hibernia[]

Hibernia is a dead minor character that seems to has arguably fulfilled its potential. Hibernia was first introduced when he came to the defense of Wepl and Lamina, he was also meant to be a hero. His second interaction was in the collective decision to join the East Wall. In the final episode right before his death he attempted to be as big of a help he could for Lamina and Wepl. He was developed however bare bones it was but he and the other 2 still play a big role in the series no matter how minor they may be.

Satron[]

Satron is the first ever Major character to have died. Satron's first appearance was when he invaded Wepl, it was meant to be known from the start that he was a villain who wishes pure destruction. his role in the series expanded when he allied with Zabernavia, during his alliance they plotted expansion and arguably the first hint of his destructive nature was when he was arguing for a suicidal invasion of the Saharan Empire. It seems that Satron has a very self destructive nature as well, at the very end of his life he had nearly destroyed Lamina and after Poland dropped the Positron bomb on his forces he sent out as many nukes as he could muster to destroy the isles in which he resided. Satron was a major villain that removed himself from history in the most dramatic way possible, its madness may never be explained but might it be.

Zabernavia/Velara[]

Zabernavia started out as the "terror of the west" but then through many changes he has changed dramatically into the nation of Velara, a noble hero. When Zabernavia started out he was meant to be the main villain of the series, he was meant to destroy and most of the series has been a cold war between Zabernavia and Poland. After the Great European war Zabernavia went through a massive change, this was marked by him giving up his empire, that war turned the greatest villain into a noble hero. he changes that he faced didn't end there, after the war Equilibrium showed his face and after the revelations of him deceiving Zabernavia Zabernavia vowed to destroy him and to help the world and to mark this change he became Velara.

Ziricua/France[]

Ziricua started out as an oppressed puppe but was given freedom by the master who once tortured him. Ziricua entered in the scene in episode 2, he was the oppressed puppet of Zabernavia and to show this when he opened his mouth Zabernavia would shut him up. Ziricua had to follow his master begrudgingly and eventually fight in the Great European War, this war changed his fortunes, after Belgasnia changed Zabernavia for good Ziricua was given freedom and showed his true name, France. France is now in the middle of a world wide conflict with one side wanting to destroy it and one wanting to defend it, this conflict had already taken many lives; who knows whos next?

The Saharan Empire[]

The Saharan Empire is a minor character that is neither hero nor villain, he only cares about himself but is willing to fight for a higher cause if necessary. The Saharan Empire first entered the scene when he invaded Bakanda, this was a war for nothing more than gaining power. The Saharan Empire joined the Great powers and fought in the Great European War, he accepted a white peace when all was lost. Even though the Saharan Empire only cares about himself; when Equilibrium came there was no doubt in his mind that he needed to be fought. The Saharan Empire has an unknown, the question remains, what strings will the future play for him?

Bakanda[]

Bakanda is a minor character who has proven his ability to fight and his loyalty to those who saved him. Bakanda first entered the series when he was invaded by The Saharan Empire, he wasn't able to fight back and when his only shield; the truce, was up he would find himself destroyed. Even in his dire situation Bakanda was saved by the East Wall and still remains. He has potential but it is still unknown what the future holds.

Dewy[]

Dewy is a minor character with a major role in a way unknown. Dewy does not have much importance in the main plot, he may be why the Great European War started but other than that the biggest role he plays is in the subplot of the workings of the universe, in episode 3 and onward he has had various conversations with Dormite and Ruba to help build the backbone for SOTU (Secrets Of The Universe), that is the highly important role he plays. In the main plot he was first introduced in the very first war, The Malta War. Other than that Dewy was the reason the Great European War started. Dewy is part of the backbone of the secondary plot and the future SOTU series, in the main plot he is minor though the future may change that.
