The flag is much like the Austro-Hungarian one, just upside down. And, the bottom red stripe is blue. The flag actually has two meanings. The blue represents the waters of the Rhône and other rivers. The green represents the nature of the nation. The red represents the blood shed from those who fought and still fight for the country. And, the white represents peace and unity between the ethnicities of the nation. And, the blue represents the Slovenians, the green represents the Italians, the red represents the French, and the white represents the peace between them and the other ethnicities. OK.
