The Commonwealth of Official Nations (CON) is a global political, economical and military union of 13 member states. The union has an estimated area of 24,118,000 km² (9,312,012 sq mi), and an estimated total population of over one billion.

Commonwealth of Official Nations was founded by four founder members: Fielger, United Great Lakes, Geronian Confederation and Franglettere. After the first CON summit, four nations were invited to the union. Currently, the union has thirteen member nations and one observer.

The policies of the union aim to ensure the free movement of people, goods, services and capital within the internal market, enact legislation in justice and home affairs, ensure defense among the member states and maintain common policies on trade and regional development.

The institutions of the CON include the elected CON Parliament, the Leader Council consisting of the heads of state, the Central Bank and the Court of Justice.

History

Founding

Commonwealth of Official Nations was founded in the beginning of September. Fielger invited United Great Lakes, Geronian Conferedation and Franglettere to a special conference. In this conference four nations came up with an idea for an union, which will secure, trade, help each other economically and develop nations faster. Commonwealth of Official Nations was officially founded on September 3rd, 2016.

2016

In October 2016, Commonwealth of Official Nations had a summit with Triple Federal Alliance and both unions decided to have economical cooperation, Freedom of Movement and both all members of TFA were invited to CON.

In 10th October 2016 CON announced it's new members. Vandaysia, Monteregis and Helvetic-Bavarian Commonwealth were accepted as Full-Members and Adriani Kingdom was accepted as Observer state.

2017

In March, CON hosted the second summit in London, Frangleterre. In the summit, CON handled crisis outside and inside the Commonwealth and discussed about new projects and cooperation programs. Full-Members decided to promote Adriani Kingdom to Full-Member and invited Rumas, Tavakareluu and Hoflan to the Commonwealth.

The CON Parliament was elected on 15th April. A hundred representatives were divided into seven party groups by political ideology. The leading group is Democratic Party Group.

In October, the third CON summit took place in Sangkhat, Vandaysia. The Commonwealth decided to abolish the member positions and united all positions into one. Also the Commonwealth created an international bank and fund research d strategies to fight climate change and greenhouse gases.

2018

In February, the fourth CON summit went ahead in Havenencht, Monteregis which saw new parliament reforms and Skycon be enacted. It was accompanied by the 2018 Parliamentary elections which took place after five new members (Alternia, Aztlan, Biscasia, Ronschdilatia and Western Republic) joined the Commonwealth. The election saw the top parties keep their former places however the parliament saw a slight rise in consceptic parties taking seats (NAC and WFR).

In early April, the 5th summit took place. Multiple changes were done; new members would no longer be accepted in summits, replacing the old system with an application process. The observer status was also reinstated. Esceosia and Manchu became the last members to be accepted in a summit, while the Astorian Confederacy was accepted as an observer. Shortly after the summit, Biscasia left the alliance due to internal issues. Brabrantium was also accepted as an observer on May 1st. Pustoyna joined the alliance on 23rd October, just days before 6th summit took place.

Member states

As you are accepted as the member of the Commonwealth of Official Nations, you can choose your leadership, you can propose votes, you have suffrage in the CON events and you have full military support from other member states.

Before the third CON summit, the Commonwealth was divided into four different positions: Full-Members, Co-Members, Observers and Trade partners.

Commonwealth requires these requirements to join the union:

• Your nation must have a page, with at least some basic information about it (map, flag, location...).
• Applications will be released every fortnight in a document. You will need to fill all the data on it. CON members will then decide if your nation is accepted.
• You can also become a member if the Commonwealth of Official Nations invites you to the union.

The Commonwealth of Official Nations currently has thirteen member states and two observers.

Institutions of the Commonwealth of Official Nations

Leader Council		Parliament
Summit of the Heads of state or government, the President of the CON Parliament. Sets general objectives and priorities of CON. Does not legislate.		Elected by the citizens of the member states. Legislates supranational laws. Adjusts the budget. Concludes international agreements.

Central Bank		Court of Justice
Forms together with the national banks. Prevents inflation or deflation. Funds the programs of CON.		Monitors the legality of institutions. Handles the member applications and delivers them to the Leader Council. Counsels the national courts.

Leader Council

Main article: Leader Council of CON
The Leader Council is the institution of the Commonwealth of Official Nations (CON) that comprises the heads of state or government of the member states, along with the President of the CON Parliament. The Leader Council meets in various locations, depends on on the location of the summit.

Parliament

The CON Parliament is the institution of the Commonwealth of Official Nations (CON). It exercises the legislative function of the CON. The Parliament is composed of 100 members. Every Full-Member and Co-member chooses 10 members to the Parliament every four years. Meetings of the whole Parliament take place in Olso, Fielger.

The CON Parliament can change and start laws inside of the Commonwealth. The Parliament adjusts the budget of the CON. The Parliament has a president. The President is elected by the members.

Central Bank

The CON Central Bank is the main bank of the Commonwealth of Official Nations. It is one of the three institutions of CON. The main goal of the CON Central Bank is to unite national state banks, fund CON Programs and use for emergencies. The bank is located in Lappeenranta.

Court of Justice

The CON Court of Justice is the supreme court of the Commonwealth of Official Nations. Court is tasked with monitoring the legality of institutions, interpreting CON law and ensuring its equal application across all the member states. Court also handles the member applications and delivers them to the Leader Council.

Programs

Main article: Programs of CON
Programs of the Commonwealth of Official Nations are programs which try to promote issues in their own specific areas. Every member state is granted to have its own program. Programs can for example organize various events and create projects. However, these must be done between the member states and the projects or events cannot influence in a particular member states.
