The 2016 Mapperdonian Olympic Games, officially known as the Games of the I Olympiad and commonly known as Montreal 2016, was a major international multi-sport event being held in Montreal, Monteregis, during the whole month of August. Created by Monteregis, it is the first Mapperdonian Olympic Games ever. More than 815 athletes from 27 National Olympic Committees took part.
With ? sets of medals, the games features 13 Olympic sports. These sporting events are taking place at 2 venues in the host city, and at two in Trois-Rivières and Cornwall. Montreal was chosen among four other candidate cities at the 1st IOC Session in Montreal, Monteregis on August 17th, 2016. The winner of Montreal 2016 was Ronschdilatia with 21 points, and Helsinki, Arkmarken will be hosting the 2017 Mapperdonian Olympic Games.
Anyone can join the Mapperdonian Olympics. Each nation gets 30 athletes, except for the host nation which gets 35. You then choose which sports your athletes will participate in, and how many. You can have as many as 5 athletes per sport, and you do not have to have athletes in each and every sport.
In order to join, you must include the following things in your comment/application:
The name of your nation. FuNations are not allowed.
The flag of your nation.
The number of athletes from your nation that will be participating in each sport.
Once you are accepted, a three-letter code will be given to you. For example, Monteregis' code is MTR. When no more applications are accepted, you can see when your nation will be competing here.

The location of the First Mapperdonian Olympic Games is in Montreal, Laurentes, Monteregis. However, three other cities from Monteregis bidded: La Chaudière and Laurentes-Ville in Laurentes and Boston in Novanglia.

After Montreal won, the main venue, the Olympic Stadium, was chosen. The Olympic Park was built over a part of the neighbourhood of Viauville as part of a gentrification process in Montreal. The Olympic Village was built to the north of the Olympic Park.
