Rhinea, officially the Republic of Rhinea (German: Rheinische Republik), is a country in Western Europe. It has a largely temperate seasonal climate. With about 94 million inhabitants, Rhinea is the most populous country in Europe after Russia, Cologne is the capital and Hamburg is the largest city in the country.
Etymology[]
The English word Rhinea derives from the river Rhine. Rhine derives from Middle English Rine, Ryne, from Old English Rīn (“the Rhine”), from Middle High German, ultimately Proto-Germanic *Rīnaz, from Gaulish Rēnos, from a Pre-Celtic or Proto-Celtic *Reinos; one of a class of river names built from Proto-Indo-European *hreyh- (“to move, flow, run”).
History[]
The Republic of Rhinea was created after the Austro-Rhine War (1874-1880). The Northern Germanic states join into one European Superpower. Rhinea also fought wars with Russia and French during the first half of the 20th century. In 1977 Rhinea joined the European Communities which later would turn into the European Union in 1993. Rhinea now is one the most powerful countries in Europe and even the world. Since 8 September 2018 Rhinea a member of the Multinational Confederation of States.
